Essential ventilation for the engine room

The elegant cruise ship Lord Byron is used for luxurious river cruises. Systemair The Netherlands supplied the exhaust fans for the ship.

The fans are installed in the engine room that houses all the technical installations for the cruise ship, the propulsion system, the energy supply, the climate installations and the sanitary installations. Because of this, it is critical that the temperature does not rise too high. The room is therefore over pressurized, and the hot air is ventilated from the room via pressure relief valves. The fans therefore help with the operation of the ship, ensuring that the passengers on the cruise can have a carefree holiday.
